It’s officially fall; one of my favorite seasons. It’s time for fall fashion, apple picking, pumpkin spice lattes, and most importantly fall home decor. Let’s be honest, what girl doesn’t love to decorate? This fall it’s all about bar cart decor.
Having a bar cart is a fun way to add your own touch of decor not, just for fall, but for every season. On my cart I’ve personalized a bottle of prosecco with fall inspired colors.
This gives it a classy, yet fun feel and is always a good conversation starter. How often do you see a glittered covered prosecco bottle? It’s really rare and a fun decor piece. There are so many different ways to make your bar cart stand out. It can be subtle with a hint of color or a fun sign. It can be all out with banners, leaves and pumpkins, etc. There is no right or wrong way to do this, it’s all on personal style. I, on the other hand am a little over the top so I have to go all out on this bar cart. Decorating a bar cart as fancy as it may sound doesn’t have to be expensive. Here are some tips that are easy and cheap.
1. Leaves are always a quick, easy, and cheap decor piece. You can get these at your local craft’s store, such as Hobby Lobby, Michael’s or the Christmas Tree Shop. These can be bought as single leaves or all connected like a wrath.
2. Pine cones! This can be found right outside your door. You can find these in your backyard or buy them from your local store. There are so many great ways to use pine cones. From spray painting them to adding glitter or simply keeping them as is. They are definitely the staple of fall and you can never go wrong with a few of them around your house. Another great way to display these pines cones is by putting them in a tall cylinder vase with some lights. This will make them stand out and look expensive, yet is so budget friendly.
3. Last, but not least are pumpkins. These can be put anywhere in your home, but on your bar cart it will definitely stand out. Depending on the type of cart that you own, you can devote one shelf to you pumpkin decor or a small section. You can get pumpkins from anywhere. They can be found in your local dollar store. Make it your own with fun colors, glitter or even ribbons. Another idea to display your pumpkins is by putting them in a glass cake stand, you can put one medium size pumpkin in the center with a few leaves or a few small pumpkins. This is a cool and inexpensive way to use what you have laying around to spice things up.
Now that we’ve come up with some cool and new ways to use some of the common things we have around our house, let’s get to decorating! I hope this was helpful and you guys can make it your own!
